Welcome to my first blogpost. I’m excited to begin this journey with you. I am a lawyer by profession and have a passion for helping others reach their goals by providing information and helpful resources. First and foremost, I will like to start by asking you a few questions: Does the Law Licensing and Accreditation Process seem daunting and/or confusing? Does it make you feel overwhelmed or anxious? Do you feel isolated or alone in the process? If yes, you are not alone. I was once in your position as an internationally-trained lawyer who studied at the University of Birmingham, UK.
As of June 2020, it has been one year since my Call to Bar ceremony. What a journey it has been! There were things I wished I knew earlier and moments of confusion during my law licensing journey. As a result, I decided to start a blog in the hopes that I can make the lives of others on this journey easier. Through this blog, I hope to discuss the licensing and accreditation process, my personal experiences and share tips and words of encouragement as I go.
The licensing and accreditation process is a marathon. Whatever stage you are in your journey, stay grateful, think positive thoughts and press forward. You can do it!
